Show Policies

It's our goal to ensure the safety of and enjoyment for all attendees and exhibitors at the show. We appreciate the cooperation of all who attend or otherwise participate in the event ("you") in agreeing to and adhering to the show policies below.

By submitting your registration and/or attending the International Roofing Expo, organized by Informa Markets, you agree to be bound by the Informa Markets Visitor Terms and Conditions, and you agree to IRE's Code of Conduct, guided by the health and safety commitments of Informa AllSecure. In addition, you agree to the additional show policies outlined below. 

All persons planning to attend the International Roofing Expo must be registered. The International Roofing Expo is a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public.

During normal show hours, persons under the age of 18 will be admitted only with parental supervision, must always be under adult supervision, and are required to have a children’s Badge. Children’s badges can be registered for on-site at the registration counter. No one under 18 years of age will be allowed on the show floor during move-in and move-out.

Each person attending the International Roofing Expo will receive one (1) badge.

 

The International Roofing Expo recognizes that both professional and personal situations can result in needing to make a change to business travel. Therefore, all attendee cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] before February 5, 2025. Cancellations will be assessed a $75 fee. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute. No refunds will be issued after February 5, 2025. Admission to the expo hall and donations are non-refundable. No refunds issued at or after the show. The International Roofing Expo is not responsible or liable for any costs incurred due to cancellations or delays of any type including travel and/or weather that may affect purchased events, including seminars, training courses, tours, certifications, luncheons, and forums.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all show areas. Anyone who wishes to smoke or vape may do so outside the building or in any of the convention center’s designated smoking areas.

Animals are not allowed at the International Roofing Expo, with the exception of registered service animals. Service animals must be identified as such and kept on a leash at all times.

 

Wagons are prohibited on the on the show floor for safety reasons. One stroller per adult will be allowed on the show floor for the sole purpose of transporting a child or a person with disabilities. All strollers must be under adult supervision. All bags and exhibitor freight are subject to security search.

 

The use of drones, UAV’s, hoverboards, wheeled transport devices and similar devices are strictly prohibited on the show floor, as well as all areas in the convention center (except for mobility devices required by persons with disabilities).

 

Only contracted exhibitors are permitted to promote their products, services or company at the International Roofing Expo. Company promotion, sample and literature distribution by exhibitors must be done within their contracted exhibit space, with the exception of designated sponsorships and marketing opportunities. This includes, but is not limited to "roaming" characters, handing out flyers, approaching exhibitor booths to sell products, leaving and/or distributing product information in public spaces and show floor aisles, all of which are prohibited. Exhibitors found doing so will be sent back to their booth space and materials left will be recycled. Attendees will be asked to leave the show and forfeit their badge. Any "suitcasers" should be reported to Show Management.

 

The International Roofing Expo reserves the right to verify the identity of any persons, accepting and/or using a show badge. Any person found using another person’s badge will have the badge confiscated and may be asked to leave the show.
