National Women in Roofing Day is the premier seminar for women in the roofing industry. There are a lot of seminars out there, but no others where the entire program is focused on the unique challenges and opportunities that women in the roofing industry face.
The 2021 program is currently in the planning stage. Please check back in the fall for more information. Below is information on the 2020 program.
Business is constantly changing. For many of us--whether we are just starting out or have twenty+ years under our belt--there is a gap between what we already know and what we need to know to be the best at our jobs and for our businesses. At NWiR Day, we have sessions designed to help bridge that gap, whether it’s learning the latest application techniques, creating a company culture that attracts and retains talent, or developing short-term and long-term business strategies. Check out our 2020 program.
Advice and connections are invaluable. At NWiR Day, our attendees come from a variety of roles within the industry. While there, attendees have the chance to meet, network, and get advice from hundreds of roofing professionals with companies like KPost Roofing & Waterproofing, Johns Manville, Rackley Roofing, SRS Distribution Inc., Tecta America, Tremco, Nations Roof, TAMKO, Antis Roofing, CORE Contractors, Graham Roofing and more. They also have the chance to speak with technical experts and leading marketing and technology providers. From the lunch-and-learn to speed networking, introverts and extroverts alike will be able to create connections that they can turn to for advice for years to come.
Sessions cover topics including business development, communications, career development, mentoring, recruitment, roofing technology advancements, hands on product demonstrations, a safety wear fashion show and of course, networking.
This program includes a light breakfast, lunch, snacks, and the evening activity. You will be able to select each session in which participate and we encourage you to come prepared to fully engage and get the most out of this event.
Registration for the 2020 event was through the IRE and the cost was: $65 for NWIR Members, $125 for Non-members
(that includes membership!)
