Community Service Day
Give Back to the Community
IRE attendees helped us revitalize Las Vegas homes and give back to the local community by participating in the 17th Annual Community Service Day Project on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. These volunteers generously donated their time to repair homes for low-income Las Vegas residents.

Get to Know This Year's Homeowners
Our first homeowner is a lovely 78-year-old, recently widowed, disabled female; and she is considered low-income by HUD’s definition. She is very thankful that the IRE volunteers would take their time to help her. She has owned the home for 39 years and isn’t proud of the condition outside of her home. She is both physically and financially unable to accomplish the things the IRE volunteers will be doing for her.
Our second homeowners are an extremely nice 73-year-old couple, who are considered low-income by HUD’s definition. They have owned their home for 20 years, but they haven't been able to keep up with the painting of the home, exterior repairs and yard cleanup on their property over the last few years due to their age and finances. They are very grateful for the willingness of the IRE volunteers to help them repair and maintain their home!
