2012 INTERNATIONAL ROOFING EXPO TO FEATURE THE SUSTAINABILITY PAVILION

DALLAS – January 25, 2012 – The 2012 International Roofing Expo® [IRE] is launching the Sustainability Pavilion, a designated area on the show floor to provide education and resources to attendees interested in this innovative and cutting-edge segment.

Formerly the Renewable Energy Pavilion, the rebranded Sustainability Pavilion will educate attendees on of the benefits of using products including renewable energy, solar, green/eco-friendly, photovoltaics, vegetative, roof-mounted wind turbines, day lighting, geothermal and other sustainable products.  

The Sustainability Pavilion is sponsored by Advanced Green Technologies, who will be exhibiting in booth #1564. The Sustainability Pavilion is free of charge and included in all registration packages. 

"Sustainable products are a fast-growing segment of the roofing industry," said Lindsay Roberts, Director of the IRE. “This pavilion will feature a collection of products and services to help roofing professionals meet the growing demand for sustainability in their operations.”

Exhibitors participating in the Sustainability Pavilion include Advanced Green Technologies, Ameresco Solar, Asphalt Shingle Grinding Service, Cool Roof Rating Council, Colbond, EcoStar, KBI Flexi-Pave, Orion Energy Systems, Phase Change Energy Solutions, Schletter, and SunMizer Solar Roofing Systems, to name a few.  

In addition to the products, a two-day series of 30-minute product demonstrations will take place on February 22-23, with an additional 15 minutes allowed per demonstration for questions and answers.
