2012 INTERNATIONAL ROOFING EXPO TO OFFER EXTENSIVE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE PROGRAM

DALLAS – November 14, 2011 – Roofing professionals seeking a wealth of indispensable resources to stimulate thinking and add knowledge, should register today to attend the 2012 International Roofing Expo® [IRE], February 22-24, in South Hall A at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA.

Taking place Wednesday through Friday, 43 in-depth sessions will cover topics designed especially for contractors, owners, CEOs, general managers, building owners, facility managers, foremen, superintendents, architects, engineers, consultants, estimators, salesmen, manufacturers and suppliers.

“Whether you are building a foundation of knowledge or obtaining CEUs, the Int’l Roofing Expo’s cutting-edge educational conference is the shortest path to enhancing your skills,” said Lindsay Roberts, Director of the IRE. “Only through education will you gain a solid assessment of inspirational strategies that can make a difference to your bottom line.”

Sessions will cover cutting-edge topics including solar and wind systems, roof systems, photovoltaics, metal roofs, OSHA updates, social media, energy production and finance, strategies for success in a slower market, and much more.

Of the 43 seminars, 98% feature new topics, with 2 of last year’s most popular sessions back by demand. 26 of the sessions involve topics pertinent to the residential sector of the roofing business, while the Spouse Program offers 20 sessions for the involved spouses who are looking for ways to help manage and grow their businesses.

Sessions are 90 minutes in length, allowing attendees to schedule their time to derive the most value from the event and ample time on the show floor to find new products, services, technologies and innovations.

Sessions cover eight educational tracks addressing key roofing segments including technical, workplace safety, leadership/management, green building, legal/HR, money matters, sales/service and general business.

"By attending the educational conference program, attendees will learn valuable strategies designed to increase company productivity and growth,” said Bill Good, Executive Vice President of NRCA, the show’s official sponsor. "I encourage our members to sharpen their skills and enrich their personal development through the seminars.”

All sessions have been submitted for approval by the RCI, Inc. [RCI] continuing education hours [CEHs] and Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the Construction Industry Licensing Board [DBPR/CILB] [Education Provider No. 0003200].

The 125th NRCA Annual Convention takes place during the IRE offering pre-show educational classes on Tuesday, February 21 including “CERTA Train-theTrainer Authorization Program,” “Roofing Industry Fall Protection from A to Z,” and “RPV Photovoltaics Roof Systems: Energizing your Business.” In addition, NRCA is hosting “Jurisdictional Issues Facing Roofing Contractors,” on Thursday, February 23.
