Kyle Petty     Kyle Petty, NASCAR Legend
“What a Ride: Life, Family, Community and the Race Track”
Wednesday, February 22
9:45 am to 10:50 am

Sponsored by Orlando-based Fortuna Logistics/MaxCon, booth #563

         Fortuna Logo

Held immediately prior to the opening of the show, the Keynote Address will feature NASCAR legend and champion, Kyle Petty.

During this moving presentation, Petty takes audiences on an anecdotal journey through his life as a businessman, philanthropist and as one of NASCAR’s most respected drivers. He explores consistently striving for excellence, living up to your promises, teamwork, helping the community and commitment to family.

The Petty surname is one of the most recognizable in American motorsports. The son of seven-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Richard Petty, Kyle forged his own identity early in his career by winning the first major race he entered: the 1979 ARCA 200 at Daytona Beach, at age 18.

When Kyle isn't behind the wheel of a racecar or serving humanitarian or philanthropic causes, he is a NASCAR analyst on TNT, a host on the Speed Channel, and a co-host of Fast Talk, a weekly radio show on the Performance Racing Network.

To complement Petty’s Keynote, the show floor will feature a NASCAR Experience booth starring a NASCAR simulator car. Attendees will sit behind the wheel and watch a flat screen monitor to experience a roaring raceway while the car shakes and tilts slightly on turns. Prizes will be awarded each day to attendees who are the top scorer in the fastest lap contest.

The simulator car will be located in booth #763 and visiting attendees will be given a Pitstop Pass to be stamped by participating sponsors. Upon securing the required stamps, attendees  will be entered into a contest to win one a variety of prizes, including two free tickets to any NASCAR race, one Super Pass for the 2013 IRE in San Antonio or a $100 Visa gift card.

The Keynote is included free of charge in all registration packages, but advance registration is required.

Cell phone, still or video photography on the show floor is strictly prohibited. No cell phones or pagers may be used during seminars.

Solicitation of business by anyone who is not an official show exhibitor is strictly prohibited.  Show Management takes this matter very seriously, and any individual who violates this rule will be asked to leave the show venue immediately without the right to receive any refund of fees.
